• Molecular analysis of IgE antibodies in pollen related food allergies in Europe. Investigador primcipa. Financiación: Pharmacia Diagnostics, Sweden. Objetivos: Una de las finalidades del estudio ha sido analizar si el patrón de alergia a ciertos alimentos está en relación con la exposición a algunos pólenes. Por esta razón el estudio se realizó en tres centros de tres países europeos (Suiza, Dinamarca y España). El estudio tiene dos fases distintas; una es el estudio clínico de los pacientes y otra el análisis en el suero de éstos de la IgE específica a diversos alergenos (muchos de ellos moléculas recombinantes) de pólenes y alimentos para valorar su capacidad diagnóstica. Investigador pricipal y coordinador clínico en EuropaObjetivos: The development of standard Cypress pollen extract to be used for in vitro and in vivo diagnostic purposes as well as the selection of hypoallergenic Cypress plants are the main objectives of our research project.
