In 2017, on the ocassion of the Institute´s R&D&I Management Systems Certification under the UNE 166002 Standar, the Innovation Comittee was created with the aim of establishing guidelines for actions regarding the ideas, projects, and initiatives carried out within the Institution that are being collected by the Innovation Support Unit.

Objectives of the Innovation Committee

As specific objectives to be developed by this Committee, the following stand out:

  • Review of the new innovation proposals
  • Analysis of the portfolio of ongoing projects.
  • Decision-making regarding the continuation and incorporation of projects.
  • Decision-making on technology transfer and/or protection of results.

The Innovation Committee is composed of:

  • Chair: Carmen Ayuso García, Scientific Director of IIS-FJD.
  • Vice Chair: Alberto Montero Manso, Management Director os IIS-FJD.
  • Secretary: Rafael Ceballos, Head of the Innovation and Transfer Unit.
  • Member: Marta Cremades Sendino, Medical Director of FJD
  • Member: Victoria del Pozo Abejón, Representative of the Research Committee.
  • Member: Alberto Ortiz Arduan, Representative of the Research Comittee.
  • Member: Margarita Rodríguez-Osorio, Representative of the Quality Unit.
  • Member: Oliver Ajo Villaraso, Head of the Projects Unit.
