The Research Human Resources Unit plays a key role in the comprehensive management of personnel involved in the Institute’s research activities, ensuring compliance with current regulations and facilitating the implementation of R&D&I projects from an administrative and employment perspective.

Its activities are focused on providing specialised support to both researchers and the different management areas of the Institute, ensuring the appropriate planning, recruitment and monitoring of research personnel. The unit also acts as a link between scientific needs and administrative requirements, contributing to the successful execution of research projects and the optimisation of available human resources.

In addition, the unit ensures proper document management and traceability of personnel records, promoting process efficiency and compliance with the funding requirements established by the different grant programmes and funding calls.

The Research Human Resources Unit is organised into two distinct areas: the research human resources management area, focused on the employment administration of research staff, and the IIS-FJD Personnel Registry Area, responsible for the management, monitoring and analysis of personnel information and data.
