Prof Aznar is focused on the development of a novel predictive modeling platform to investigate how therapeutic immunecells (TICs) sense, migrate and interact with cancerous cells and with the tumor microenvironment. His platform is built on two key pillars: in-vitro 3D tumor organoids and multicellular simulations. European Research Agency ERC-2020-Advanced Grant.
