Participation in nationally funded research projects focused especially on congenital platelet disorders, including functional and molecular characterization studies of these patients (PI20/00926, ISCIII). Publications in thrombosis, contributing to risk factors for thrombosis (Lancet Hematol, 2024), congenital thrombocytopenias, including platelet transcriptome analysis in variants predisposed to hematological neoplasms (J Thromb Haemos, 2023), characterization of new variants in TUBB1 or SRC genes (Blood Advances, 2021 & Blood Advances, 2022), and in immune thrombocytopenia or ITP (Platelets, 2019 & British Journal Haemat, 2025).
