2013

External evaluation of the European Excellence Model-EFQM by international consultants, with the "Recognised 5 Stars" awarded to the first hospital of this complexity in Europe.

2016

The quality, environment and energy management system certifications are awarded based on international standards UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015, 14.001:2015 and 50.001:2014, respectively.

Along with the following accreditations:

National Accreditation and Certification Entity (ENAC) in UNE-EN ISO 15189:2013 Clinical Laboratories (Anatomic Pathology Service, techniques according to accreditation annex).

Accreditation by JACIE (Joint Accreditation Committee of European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation - EBMT) for Extracting, Processing and Transplanting Haematopoietic Progenitor Cells.

2017

Reproductive Medicine Unit Certification, UNE 179007:2013. Assisted Reproduction Laboratories.

2018

External and international revaluation of the "Recognised 5 Stars", obtaining the highest score (650+), of the European Excellence Model-EFQM.

Hospital Certification in Surveillance, Prevention and Control of Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) UNE 179006:2013

Certification of the Innovation Management System of Fundación Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria FJD, UNE 166002:2014 I+D+i.

Certification of the Internal Medicine Unit in the Standard of the Spanish Internal Medicine Society (SEMI-Excelente).

Smoke-Free Hospitals accreditation by Madrid Regional Government (HsH Network), GOLD category.

2019

Double certification in Information Security, covering the whole hospital, under Standard ISO 27001, and Medium-Level Certification in the National Information Security Scheme RD3/2010.

Quality certification from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO-QOPI) as an Oncology Institute in haematological and solid malignancies. Oncology Service and Haematology Service.
