Postgraduate orthodontist training programme

The FJD’s Orthodontics Unit offers a three-year full-time postgraduate training programme for orthodontists (5500 hours).

This programme, following the European model for orthodontist training in university hospitals, places particular emphasis on practical training for residents, although it also includes theory-based and clinical research training.

Short courses

The Unit regularly organises short courses given by staff and other national and international lecturers

Extra-mural training

Members of the Unit's staff also teach and intervene as guest lecturers at various national and international universities and educational institutions

Lines of research

Our Unit is involved in Jiménez Díaz Foundation Research Institute's project with research related to interdisciplinary orthodontics, producing doctoral theses and national and international publications.
