Research:

The Dermatology Service is working on the following lines of research:

  • Melanoma genetics.
  • Molecular findings in cutaneous lymphomas.

Teaching:

FJD is affiliated with the School of Medicine at UAM, actively engaging in undergraduate teaching, providing training opportunities at our hospital for Year-3 students and onwards, while our service also teaches Dermatology for Year-5 students.

Postgraduate Teaching covers three areas: Teaching of third university cycle (Doctorate), training for Residents, and lifelong medical education.
