The Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit provides scientific support in the field of epidemiological and statistical methodology and analysis. This activity is carried out mainly at Fundación Jiménez Díaz, and also at other hospitals that are part of Quirónsalud group (Hospital Infanta Elena, Hospital Universitario Rey Juan Carlos, and Hospital General de Villalba).

The main activities carried out are as follows:

  • Study design: choice of study type, sample size calculation, randomisation
  • Design of data collection sheets
  • Statistical analysis
  • Interpretation and presentation of results
  • Drafting and/or review of the methodology and results of articles, presentations, doctoral theses, etc.
