Grupo Asociado de Medicina Preventiva-Salud Pública y Atención Primaria

Resumen de actividad

Contribuir a la prestación de atención sanitaria personalizada mediante las estrategias propias de la Epidemiología y la Salud Pública. Sus actividades se orientan a la Epidemiología, la Protección y Promoción de la Salud, a la Prevención de la Enfermedad y la mejora de la salud individual y colectiva, la Seguridad del Paciente y la mejora de la Calidad Asistencial. Asimismo, se promueven las actividades relacionadas con la ética de la investigación, los principios de integridad científica y las buenas prácticas en investigación. Los integrantes del grupo participan en diferentes actividades de docencia (pregrado y postgrado).

Contribuciones a la sociedad

El grupo de Medicina Preventiva-Salud Pública y Atención Primaria tiene un perfil claramente orientado a mejorar la atención a la sociedad, mediante la reducción de riesgos en la atención médica, la mejora en la utilización de los recursos y contribuir a realizar una atención basada en la evidencia, todo ello con el fin último de proporcionar una mejor atención a los pacientes y a la comunidad. Además, realiza actividades formativas y de difusión relacionadas con los principios de ética de la investigación, de integridad científica, y sobre las buenas prácticas en investigación, con el objetivo de garantizar que se desarrolle actividad científica de calidad, reproducible, con respeto a los derechos de los participantes en la investigación y con la confianza de la sociedad.
