Clinical Neurophysiology at Fundación Jiménez Díaz is located in 3 different areas of the hospital:

  • Outpatient Consultations: Basement Fundación Jiménez Díaz

In the Basement at Fundación Jiménez Díaz, EMG consultation rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 are for Electromyographic Studies (EMG) and Evoked Potentials (EP).

In the Basement at Pontones Speciality Centre, consultation rooms 14 and 17 are for Electromyographic Studies (EMG) and Evoked Potentials (EP).

  • Operating room:

Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) is performed in the operating room area, predominantly at the request of Neurosurgery and Traumatology services, working with other specialities whenever structures of the central or peripheral nervous system are at risk. The number of monitoring procedures varies, with an average of 3-4 surgeries per week.
