Apart from the fact that most physicians in the Service are members of distinguished Spanish Societies such as the Spanish Haematology and Haemotherapy Society and the Spanish Thrombosis and Haemostasis Society, several of them are also members of prestigious international associations such as the European Haematology Association, the American Association for Cancer Research, the European Haematology Association or ECAT Foundation (International External Quality Assessment Program in Thrombosis and Haemostasis).
