  • Head and neck pathology (otorhinolaryngology, oropharynx).
  • Digestive pathology (gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary tracts and pancreas).
  • Dermatopathology (functional and tumour pathology of the skin).
  • Endocrine pathology (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal).
  • Gynaecopathology (female reproductive system).
  • Haematopathology (lymph nodes, bone marrow, spleen).
  • Breast pathology.
  • Nephropathology (functional renal biopsies).
  • Pneumopathology (lungs, lower airways, pleura and mediastinum).
  • Neuropathology (central nervous system, hypophysis, functional muscle-nerve, ocular pathology).
  • Soft tissue (soft tissue and musculoskeletal tumours).
  • Uropathology (male reproductive system, urinary system).

Cytopathology Unit: cytological diagnosis (exfoliative cytology, by scrapings and fine needle aspiration)

Molecular pathology unit: molecular diagnostics
